Coyote Run bases its fee structure on summer, spring/fall and winter rates.
Golfers now are paying a winter rate of $25 for resident and $35 for non-resident 18-hole golf Monday through Friday, and $30 for resident and $45 for non-resident 18-hole golf Saturday and Sunday.

In a first of its kind for the Chicago area, officials broke ground Wednesday on a 30,000-square-foot chipping and putting space at Deerpath Golf Course.
Dubbed The Lawn, the family-friendly facility is aimed at appealing to every level of golfer, from those who want to cut their handicap by shoring up their short game to novices, youngsters and social groups.
The golf course is producing a larger than usual revenue share as the pandemic-prompted bump in play continues in its second year. The course is set on 110 acres with frequent views of the Des Plaines River, which accounts for some of the water challenges golfers will encounter on 14 of the 18 holes. Crane’s Landing’s Tom Grey said the front nine is fairly short but still challenging, while the back nine plays as much as five shots harder. The par-70 layout offers four sets of tees, bentgrass fairways, a practice facility and golf shop. The golf course is also a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

From time to time, online commenters on Patch wonder about the status of that money. According to the city, it will be paid back from increased income from virtual golf revenue sharing as well as sales, amusement, food and beverage, and video gambling taxes.
