The 18 hole course at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn is a real gem and wonderfully maintained. The property offers excellent practice facilities with a huge grass-tee driving range, numerous greens, and a short game practice area. At 7200+ yards, the course is as challenging as you'd like it to be, with a stout 74.9 course rating from the tips. Choose your tee box wisely. Water is in play on 14 holes, and bunkers are ubiquitous. The greens are generally large, but roll fast and can be deceiving to the naked eye. The entire course was renovated in 2004 by the son of the original architect, adding bentgrass greens and fairways. Village Links has hosted 25 Western Open qualifiers and 5 US Open Sectional Qualifiers. The restaurant at the course, Reserve 22, offers an upscale dining experience and is open year-round.
