River Bend Golf Club Overview
The word River is in the name, so you know there's lots of water on this course. The Dupage River East Branch runs through the western border of the property and fuels a number of water hazards here. On this 9 hole course, 7 holes have water hazards wanting to ruin your round. Don't take this course lightly!

The course layout at River Bend provides a stern test. There's only 2 or 3 holes where you can exhale a little and let your hair down. I'd say those are holes 3, 4 and 9. Otherwise every other hole has problems lurking via water or really needing to strike an accurate ball. Unfortunately there's not a driving range at River Bend to help you prepare for battle. But there are a couple practice greens. One is between the clubhouse and the first tee. The other one is curiously all the way at the other end of the very long parking lot.

Inside the attractive and modern looking clubhouse, there's a full service restaraunt here called Wheatstack that offers classic American bar & grill fare. A large patio outside offers outdoor dining and great views of the golf course. The pro shop has a moderate selection of merch.
