Hickory Golf Outing

Step back in time and enjoy an unforgettable day of golf played the way it was in 1926 — with real hickory-shafted clubs and vintage-style golf balls. This signature event of our 100th Anniversary weekend is designed to be fun, social, and completely unique to Mt. Prospect Golf Club. Teams: 4-person scramble (one hickory set provided per group). Format: 18-Hole Scramble — all four players hit, the team selects the best shot, and everyone plays from there. Equipment: Authentic hickory club set + replica 1920s balls supplied by PlayHickory.com. Contests / Proxy Games: Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, Longest Putt. Course Experience: Setup inspired by 1920s golf — emphasis on creativity, accuracy, and classic shot-making. Dress: Vintage attire encouraged (knickers, caps, old-school patterns), but not required. This is a standalone event open to all golfers. Registration for Saturday does not include Friday’s 9-hole warm-up or Sunday’s 18-hole event.
