Bloomingdale Golf Club Overview
Bloomingdale Golf Club was built in 1924, but was known as Glendale Golf Course back then. The village of Bloomingdale purchased the property in 1998 and renovated it into the course we know today -- and they did a great job. Bloomingdale's modern clubhouse is one of the nicest in the Chicagoland area, with a great pro shop, full service restaurant, and large banquet/event space.

The practice facility here is on par with what you'd expect for a muni in this price range. The driving range has grass tees, which is nice, but it's not particularly large. There's two practice greens here; one by the driving range, and one next to the first tee.

In terms of difficulty, the course is not overly penal. There's three bodies of water on the course, so those hazards only effect a handful of holes. Most of the holes at Bloomingdale are relatively straight lines from tee to green, but there are hills which spice things up. The hardest course rating is just below 70 for men. The squared off tee-boxes are a nice touch and lend an air of sophistication.
